Trishuli River Rafting in Nepal

The Trisuli is a Nepal's most popular rafting river, Impressive gorges, exciting rapids, and some easier sections and easily accessible from Kathmandu and Pokhara is the main attraction of this river. Legend says that high in the Himalayas at Gosainkunda Lake at 4318 meter the God Shiva drove his trident (Trisuli) into the ground to create three springs. It is the source of river and hence its name Trisuli. A trip in this river can be made for the varied duration, depending up on the availability of time and interest. A Trisuli trip can easily be managed to end at a place where a wildlife tour begins. It is a drive to the west for about two hours from Kathmandu.
